For Food & Beverage Brands

Product photo editing services quote per image. A 40-SKU line is one job, not 40 invoices.

Six flavours shot in two sessions a year apart, and it shows on the shelf page. FoodShot restyles the product photos you already own onto one locked look, for every SKU and every channel. Labels stay pixel-perfect.

What a Food Brand's Image Library Actually Needs

Seven jobs a multi-SKU food and beverage line needs that a per-image editing quote never itemises

Row of six unlabelled glass bottles of cold-pressed juice in different colours standing in a line on seamless white

One Look Locked Across an Entire SKU Line

Twelve flavours, two shoot days, one finished range

Four glass preserve jars with plain unprinted cream labels standing dead-on in a close row, front faces flat to camera

Label Fidelity — Text and Logos Stay Pixel-Perfect

Your printed label is never redrawn or retyped

Five kraft paper stand-up pouches in a row with clear front windows showing different grains and granolas, on pale oak

Packaging Refresh Without Reshooting 200 Assets

New pack, same look, no second studio booking

Four plain aluminium drink cans grouped in a tight square cluster on a neutral grey concrete sweep

Retailer Portal Crops and Background Variants

Square, dead-on, plain ground — to each portal's spec

Overhead flat lay of assorted unlabelled bottles, jars and bars arranged in two neat rows on pale marble

Trade Deck and Line Sheet Imagery

The range laid out the way a buyer reads it

Six unwrapped chocolate bars in a row graded from pale milk to near-black dark, on textured dark slate

Flavour Extensions Matched to the Original Range

Three new SKUs that sit beside the first nine

Moody clustered arrangement of unlabelled bottles, a jar, a can and a chocolate bar at staggered heights on dark weathered wood

Channel Variants From a Single Master Shot

One photo, one style, every channel's crop

Features

Built for the brand manager holding 200 assets, a packaging refresh and four retailer specs

Line Runs

Restyle the whole line in one sitting, not one asset at a time

100+ curated styles turn the product photos your team already shot into one consistent range. Run the first SKU, approve the look, then push the rest of the line through the same style. Colour, fill level and label detail come from your source photo, so a twelve-flavour range stops looking like two shoot days.

Builder Mode

Set the surface, light and framing yourself when a SKU fights the template

Some packs refuse a house style. A tall bottle needs air above and below, a matte pouch needs softer light than glass, and a near-black bar needs a lifted background to hold its edge. Builder Mode lets you set surface, light direction, angle and crop directly, then save that setup so the awkward SKUs match the easy ones.

My Styles

Save the look once and every future SKU lands on it

A saved style is your reference. Next quarter's flavour extension, the packaging refresh, the seasonal pack and the retailer's square variant all run through the same one, so new assets join the existing range instead of starting a second one. It is version control for a brand's image library, held in the style rather than in a folder name.

Perfect For

Food and beverage brands whose image library outgrew the shoot that made it

If your assets were shot in batches, your retailers each want something different, and a packaging change means a reshoot quote, this page is for you. Food and drink only: FoodShot does not restyle non-food products.

🥤

Beverage Brands With a Multi-Flavour Range

Eight flavours in identical bottles where only the liquid colour changes. The range has to read as one family on a shelf page, which means identical framing, identical fill height and one colour temperature across every SKU.

🍫

Confectionery and Snack Brands

Bars, bites and sharing bags that launch in waves. Each wave was shot by whoever was free, and the newest three never quite match the original nine on the category page.

🫙

Preserve, Sauce and Pantry Makers

Glass is the hard case. A phone photo of a jar carries the window, the ceiling and the photographer in its reflection. One controlled highlight per jar, repeated across every flavour, is the whole job.

🧊

Chilled and Frozen Ready-Meal Brands

Sleeve art changes every season while the meal inside stays the same. You need pack shots that survive a refresh and prepared-dish shots that match them, without booking a studio twice a year.

🌾

Better-For-You and Functional Brands

Pouches, tubs and sachets in matte finishes that eat light. Retailers want a plain background, your own site wants lifestyle, and both have to come from the same range of assets.

📦

Private-Label and Distributor Ranges

Dozens of lines from dozens of suppliers, each photographed to a different standard. Standardising that library is what makes a wholesale catalogue look like one catalogue.

Outsourced editing is quoted per image, and for straightforward pack work the numbers usually land between roughly one and five dollars a shot, with clipping paths, shadow work and heavy retouching charged on top. Revisions are often billed separately. On one hero image that is nothing. On a line it is the whole problem: forty SKUs at three dollars is a four-figure invoice, and that invoice arrives again for the seasonal pack, again for the flavour extension, and again the week your packaging changes. Offshore studios are cheaper per image and slower per batch; a local retoucher is faster to brief and costs several times more. Neither price scales with the way a brand actually works, which is a constant drip of new SKUs and refreshed packs. A flat subscription changes the maths because the marginal cost of the two-hundredth asset is zero. That is the honest case for restyling a library. It is a much weaker case for the one campaign image that carries a national launch.

This is the defining problem of a brand image library and it is rarely the camera's fault. Six flavours shot in March under a kitchen light come out warm; the three added in October by a window come out cool. Side by side on a retailer's category page they read as two different brands. Correcting each file by hand means eyedropping a neutral point in every shot and nudging temperature, exposure and crop until the set agrees, which is slow and drifts as your eye tires. Restyling works differently: every photo is rebuilt on the same surface, under the same light direction, at the same colour temperature and in the same framing, so the range agrees by construction rather than by correction. Save that setup as a style and it becomes the reference the whole line runs through. The hard test is a colour-graded range, where a pale flavour must stay pale while the darkest stays dark. When that row reads correctly end to end, the rest of the library will too.

Yes, and this is the part worth being exact about, because a warped or re-rendered label is an unusable asset. FoodShot does not redraw, retypeset or regenerate your packaging. It restyles the photo around the product, so the label in the output is the label in the photo you uploaded: same artwork, same typography, same logo, same barcode, at the same pixels. What changes is the surface the pack sits on, the direction and quality of the light, the framing and the background. If your source photo shows the label slightly off-axis, the output shows it slightly off-axis. That means the quality of the source frame matters more here than on any other kind of food photo: shoot the pack square to the camera, in focus, with the front panel evenly lit and no glare across the text. Do that once per SKU and every styled variant afterwards inherits a clean, legible, pixel-accurate label.

You have to rephotograph the packs, but not rebuild the look. A refresh invalidates the artwork in every existing asset, so a new photograph of each affected SKU is unavoidable — no tool can put new packaging onto an old photo honestly, and you would not want one that tried. What a saved style removes is the second half of the job. Photograph the refreshed packs on a phone against any plain wall, then run them through the same style the original range used, and the new assets land on the same surface, the same light and the same framing as the old ones. That matters most during the transition, when old and new packs sit side by side on the same shelf page for a quarter or more. Brands usually stage it: the top twenty by revenue first, the long tail over the following weeks, with the style holding the two halves of the library together while it happens.

It can cover most of it, and that is the point of working from your own source photo rather than a finished file. Retailer portals tend to want a square crop, the pack dead-on, a plain white or neutral ground and generous margin. A trade deck or line sheet wants the range laid out together and readable at slide size. Social wants atmosphere, depth and a vertical crop. Those are three different treatments of the same product, not three different shoots. Run the source photo through a clean style for the portal, an overhead layout style for the line sheet and a darker lifestyle style for the feed, and every channel is fed without a second session. Keep the source frame loose when you shoot, because a crop can always come in and cannot go out. The one thing to check per portal is its own spec sheet, since minimum pixel dimensions and background rules differ between retailers.

No to all three, and it is worth being exact. FoodShot never sends a photographer, never books or runs a studio shoot, never prints anything, never designs packaging or label artwork, and never fabricates a product you do not sell. It is a restyling tool. Someone on your team photographs your own real product on a phone, uploads that photo, chooses a style, and about ninety seconds later the same product comes back on a clean surface with proper light and usable framing. The product in the output is the product in the photo, with its real shape, real fill level, real colour and real label. It also only works on food and drink, so anything non-food in your range is outside what this does. If you need an art-directed campaign image for a national launch or a new pack design, hire a photographer and a designer for those jobs. This is for the library, not the campaign.
